What is Farm to Bar -

What is Farm to Bar Chocolate

Farm-to-bar chocolate means growing and harvesting cacao on our own farms and transforming those very beans into chocolate. This ensures the flavor stays authentic, the process remains organic, and every bar is made with care and integrity.

For too long, chocolate has been labeled a “sinful pleasure” — something artificial, unhealthy, and only to be enjoyed in moderation. The so-called sugar-free chocolates in the market are often either too bitter, tasteless, or loaded with misleading substitutes like corn syrup, jaggery, or honey — which are still sugar. Some even rely on artificial sweeteners that leave an unpleasant aftertaste.

This got us thinking: what if chocolate could be more? We weren’t ready to give up on this beautiful indulgence simply because it was confined to “cheat days” or made to taste bitter. Our journey took us across the world — from Indonesia to the Ivory Coast — and finally back to our very own farm in Wayanad, Kerala, India. Along the way, we learned that real chocolate is healthy.

Dark chocolate, when made right, is rich in antioxidants and nutrients. The real culprit behind chocolate’s bad reputation is not cacao, but sugar. So we asked ourselves: why not remove the sugar and let the goodness shine?

What followed was years of experimentation — from fermenting cacao and perfecting the roasting process to trying countless natural sweeteners. After many trials (and some terrible chocolate along the way!), we finally mastered a recipe that uses the finest Indian organic cacao, pure cocoa butter, and natural zero-calorie sweeteners — with no bitterness, no aftertaste, and no compromise.

The result? A chocolate that is low-carb, high in healthy fats and protein, loaded with antioxidants, and most importantly, absolutely delicious.

Our mission is simple: to create 100% natural bean-to-bar chocolate made with locally sourced ingredients, free from chemicals, artificial flavors, or preservatives. Whether it’s in your breakfast bowl, as a mid-day pick-me-up, your workout buddy, or an after-meal treat — our chocolate is here to make indulgence both scrumptious and healthy.

We are proud to redefine chocolate from a guilty pleasure into a guilt-free delicacy.

Our Cacao Farm

Nestled in the foothills of the Western Ghats, in Kerala’s Kozhikode district, lie our 5-acre cacao farms, bordered by rivers on two sides and just 500 meters from the forest edge. Here, the cacao trees thrive in a natural, forest-like environment — interplanted with coconut, nutmeg, cloves, vanilla, banana, and a variety of fruits — creating a rich ecosystem that enhances both the soil and the flavor of the cacao.

We follow sustainable farming practices from the very beginning. Healthy saplings are carefully chosen and nurtured with organic compost and natural manure, while frequent sprinkler irrigation ensures balanced growth. The health of each plant is closely monitored at every stage. For nearly three years, this cycle continues until the young cacao trees are strong enough to flower and bear fruit.

Once harvested, the journey of flavor begins with fermentation. Raw cacao beans are naturally very bitter, but proper fermentation unlocks the deep, complex chocolate notes we all love. After fermentation, the beans are sun-dried for 5–6 days, then meticulously inspected so only the best make it to the next step: roasting.

It’s this careful process — from soil to sapling, from fermentation to roasting — that gives our chocolates their distinctive, rich flavor and sets them apart as truly farm-to-bar.
