Placing an Order and delivery Timelines

Shipping & Delivery Policy

  • Order Processing: All orders are processed within 2 working days from the time they are received.

  • Shipping Timeline: Once dispatched from our factory, delivery typically takes 5–7 working days, depending on your location.

  • Tracking: You will receive a tracking number via email or SMS once your order has been dispatched. You can use this number to track your shipment directly on the courier’s website.

  • At Checkout: These timelines are clearly displayed during checkout and form part of our Terms & Conditions, which customers must agree to before placing an order.

⚠️ Please note: While we strive to deliver within the mentioned timelines, unforeseen circumstances such as courier delays, weather conditions, or logistical challenges may occasionally cause delays. In such cases, Ditch the Guilt cannot be held liable for late deliveries, and no legal action can be taken against us for such unavoidable delays.

Offers and Discounts

We may introduce special offers or discounts from time to time. These promotions are subject to availability and may be announced and implemented without prior notice. Please note that once an order is placed, it cannot be amended to include a new discount or offer. Discounts will only apply to orders placed during the active promotional period, and cannot be retroactively applied to previous purchases.

Cancellation Policy

As the only Direct Farm-to-Bar Organic Zero Sugar Added Chocolate manufacturers, we take pride in our quality and carefully controlled production process. Since our products are mostly made on demand, once an order is placed it cannot be cancelled, changed, or amended.

If incorrect contact details are provided at the time of placing the order, we will make every reasonable effort to inform our logistics partner and attempt to correct the information. However, if delivery fails due to incorrect details beyond our control, the amount will not be refunded.

⚠️ Any decision regarding refunds in such cases will be at the sole discretion of the company.

Banning of Account.

To maintain a safe and respectful shopping environment, we have a zero-tolerance policy for fraudulent activity and abusive behavior.

  • Any orders identified as fraudulent will result in an immediate ban of the associated account.

  • Rude, abusive, derogatory, or impolite language directed towards our staff, including the use of words such as “scam” or “fake”, will lead to immediate account suspension and a permanent ban from making future purchases on our platform.

  • Customers who place Cash on Delivery (COD) orders and subsequently reject or refuse delivery will also have their accounts banned from future transactions.

Returns & Refunds Policy

At Ditch the Guilt, we are proud of our Direct Farm-to-Bar, Zero Sugar Added Chocolates and handmade cookies, and we hope you love them as much as we do. However, if you are unsatisfied with your order or find missing items, please contact us within 1 day of delivery at info@nepenthe.co.in with the following details:

  • Your name and order number

  • Details of the item(s) with issue

  • Photos of the package and products received


Important Notes & Conditions

  1. Packaging & Ice Packs

    • All chocolates are shipped with an ice pack (sealed in a white cover and zip lock bag) to protect them during transit. The ice pack is not edible.

    • Cookies/brownies are shipped without ice packs.

    • In rare cases, ice packs may not be included due to unforeseen circumstances. Melted chocolates are not considered spoiled and are not eligible for refund or replacement.

  2. Customer Responsibility

    • Please provide the correct phone number, pin code, and complete address at checkout. Orders with incorrect details will not be processed, and no refunds will be issued in such cases.

    • Customers must reach out to us for any issues related to delayed delivery. We are not responsible for courier partner delays but will try our best to assist.

    • Once an order is dispatched, the shipping address cannot be changed, and refunds will not be granted in such cases.

  3. Refunds & Returns

    • Refunds are only applicable for missing items or cases where we approve a return.

    • In the case of missing items, we prefer to ship the replacement with your next order (to reduce packaging waste).

    • Refunds are processed within 7 working days of approval. The time for credit depends on your bank or payment gateway (PayU, Razorpay, Paytm).

    • Once a refund is processed, the products become the property of the company. Any usage of the product after a refund is initiated will be considered a breach of our policy.

    • Taste is subjective — returns or refunds will not be accepted for taste preferences.

  4. Non-Refundable Situations

    • Melted chocolates (they can be refrigerated and safely consumed).

    • Orders placed with wrong shipping details.

    • Rejected Cash on Delivery (COD) orders. COD orders are chargeable.

    • Orders placed during offers/discounts cannot be cancelled once placed.

  5. Product Variations & Manufacturing Rights

    • As our chocolates and cookies are handcrafted and preservative-free, appearance may change during transit. This does not affect quality or taste.

    • We reserve the right to modify recipes, nutritional labels, or packaging depending on climate, ingredient availability, and manufacturing needs.

    • Website product images are for reference only; the actual product may vary slightly.

  6. Cancellations & Company Rights

    • We reserve the right to cancel any order under circumstances such as rude or abusive behavior, suspected fraud, unserviceable pin codes, or delays beyond our control. Refunds will be provided in such cases.

    • We also reserve the right to not respond to all emails/messages. Our standard response time is 48-72 hours.
